I am an editor, writer, and photographer, originally from Texas and now based in Washington, D.C. These days you can find me editing video scripts at Complexly Media, doing my best to understand mysteries like how statistics underpins our understanding of everything and just what exactly you can do with a geography degree.
Outside of wrangling scripts I shoot a mix of film and digital photography. My work includes portraits, landscapes, and a broad range of subjects beyond that.
I previously worked as a journalist for many years, most recently at POLITICO covering various beats and topics within the environmental space. My portfolio also includes freelance work for publications including The Atlantic and the Society of Environmental Journalists’ digital magazine.
